My learn to embroider kit is perfect for beginners who want to learn different types of embroidery stitches. The design comes printed on fabric and shows you how to do 10 simple stitches. You get clear step-by-step instructions and access to a free library of embroidery stitch videos on my website. In addition, the stitches are marked out on the fabric so you know exactly where the stitches go and what size to do them.

It's an embroidery sampler which lets you create a beautiful abstract embroidery while you learn simple embroidery stitches.

Learn embroidery kit

The learn to embroider kit comes in a pretty box which includes everything you need to make the design:

  • 100% cotton fabric with the embroidery sampler design printed onto it. The fabric measures 30x30cm (12x12 inches) including borders.
  • DMC embroidery thread, 3 colours, full skeins so you won’t run out of thread
  • 2 x John James needles with long eyes for easy threading and sharp tips for easy stitching
  • A metal needle threader so you’ll never struggle to thread a needle again
  • Top quality wooden embroidery hoop 15 cm (6 inches) by Elbesee
  • Clear and easy to follow stitch instructions (English only) with diagrams
  • Illustrated general instructions (in English)

Embroidery display frame - save £6

In addition, I sell frames which will set off your embroidery perfectly. They're guaranteed to fit and come with easy-to-follow instructions. Save £6 when you buy an embroidery kit and a frame together.

Learn to embroider pattern

As an alternative to the learn to embroider kit, I also sell the same embroidery sampler design just as a pattern.  It comes printed onto fabric and you also get full instructions.  So that's perfect if you've already got hoops, needles and thread or you want to choose your own thread colours.

Size

The finished embroidery measures 25x25cm (10x10 inches). It fits into a square frame 30x30cm (12x12 inches). The display area measures 20x20cm (8x8 inches).

Things you need to know

  • US customers - prices include all import duties (tariffs) and handling charges so you won't have additional fees to pay when your item arrives.
  • The fabric is cotton calico. It may have slight imperfections which are just a natural part of the fabric.
  • Colours may look different on screen and in print to how they are in real life.
  • Eco-friendly packaging. My embroidery kits come in a cardboard postal box. I don’t use any packaging inside the box, apart from a biodegradable bag for the needles and needle threader. I post my kits in mailing bags which you can recycle.
  • My learn to embroider design is copyright and is only for your personal use.  So you cannot resell the design or any embroideries made from it.
