SHIPPING METHOD

UK customers:

I usually send orders out within 1-2 days of receiving payment. Patterns and thread packs go by Royal Mail first class post. Everything else goes by Royal Mail Tracked 24. This does NOT guarantee delivery within 24 hours. If you need express delivery please contact me.

Non-UK customers:

All non-UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked. You will be provided with a tracking number which can be used on your national postal service website as well as on the Royal Mail website. Please keep an eye on the tracking to find out where your package is and when to expect delivery.

If I can make savings by combining items in large orders or by using a courier I'll let you know and process a refund for you.

Christmas post

Last date for Christmas orders:
Australia, NZ - Friday 5 December
US, Canada - Friday 12 December
UK - Friday 19 December
Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed at this busy time of year, so please order early.

US customers

I have increased my prices to cover all import duties and handling fees on goods arriving in the US from the UK so you won't have any unexpected fees to pay when your order arrives. The tariff imposed by the US government on UK imports is currently 10%, regardless of the value of the item. Please bear in mind there may be delays at customs as these big changes take effect.

EU and Northern Ireland

I no longer sell to EU countries or Northern Ireland. This is because of recent packaging laws and the introduction of General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) which mean I need to have an appointed representative in the EU. The costs of complying with these regulation changes are far higher than the income I receive from making sales to the EU and Northern Ireland. 

NORMAL DELIVERY TIMES

Deliveries usually take:

• UK: 2-5 days
• United States: 1-2 weeks
• Canada, Australia, New Zealand: about 2 weeks
• Everywhere else: 2-3 weeks

IF YOUR ITEM DOESN'T ARRIVE

Royal Mail doesn't consider items lost until after:

• 10 business days for items posted within the UK
• 28 business days for items posted to destinations outside the UK

Please let me know if your item doesn't arrive when expected and I'll do my best to help.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

I'm happy to help, just contact me within 14 days of delivery.  You need to send items back within 30 days of delivery. 

You're responsible for the return postage costs.  It doesn't matter if the box has been opened, but the contents must be unused and undamaged. If the item isn't returned in its original condition, you will be responsible for any loss in value.

CANCELLATIONS

You can cancel any time within 24 hours of purchase as long as I haven't already posted it. If it's been posted, just follow the returns policy.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT TAXES

You are responsible for any customs or import taxes that may apply.  I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

PRIVACY

I take your privacy seriously.  Your name, your address and your email address  will be used by me to complete your order or to contact you in connection with your order.

If you have signed up to my newsletter, I will contact you roughly once a month with information about new designs, special offers for subscribers or sales.  You can unsubscribe at any time. 

Your details are kept securely on a password-protected computer.  I will not pass on your information to anyone else. 

A third-party cookie collects and shares customer browsing behaviour while you're on this site.
